On the Official Wiki, when you go to the sunspear title page, it shows additional ranks after spearmarshall, and says that a february Update made it possible to achive higher ranks. Can anyone confirn this. Do they scouts etc. still stop giving you bounties after Casstellan, or is it now possible?

On another Note, a recent Gaile log on the wiki said that they would be putting in additional Skills related to the Sunpear Title. So far all we have is Sunspear rebirth Signet, and i would like to know if anyone has any ideas as to what a cool skill would be. Maybe the devs will like some suggestions

Heres one i thought up:

"Rally The Recruits"

Energy cost:15

Summon 1...3 Sunspear recruits that are lv 10...20
this skill may only be used once per mission, unless recharged by a morale boost.

i think that the skills will not be linked to an attribute, but to the sunspear title. EX. sunspear general= 3 level 18 recruits etc. when you use the skill.

I think that Castelan is the highest you can get right now, and won't be changed untill the Hard update.

It used to be possible to get higher ranks through resurrected mobs, but it isn't any more.

You can get Spearmarshal (rank 9) by saving all the quest rewards 'til after hitting r8 off blessings. That allowed people to see what the next rank and amount will take to obtain.

skill sounds cool but it would be more 3 lvl 20 at legendary (so not over powered) and u get 1 at general and 2 and marshel

Ah, that is a good point unknown1. I did not want to make the skill overpowered. Thank you to all who have given me info about the sunspear title.

Does anyone have any more ideas for skills?

I thought of one:

"Sunspear's Valor"

Energy:10
Recharge:60

"for 15...45 seconds, you attack 5...15% faster
and gain 30...100 maximum health"

Anyone else?

No way in hell is there 7500 worth of sunspear points from quest rewards. People gained Spearmarshal to find out the next rank by res killing there way to it before Anet nerfed it. Thats how people know what the next rank is.

I think he means don't turn the quests in 'till you got to the high sunspear rank through other methods, then you turn them in.
